Anything should be srrelevant in love, but Cathy made a misteak and Heathcliff too. From then on, he tried to do his best to make reprisals. At last, Cathy was dead with sorrow and Heathcliff live with a broken heat and use his rest life to miss Cathy.

安德里亚·阿诺德承认她是在20多岁时第一次读《呼啸山庄》，被深深打动，但她从未想过拍古装片，直到本片制片人找到她。“把这本书改编成电影简直是不可能的任务”，阿诺德说，“这是一本黑暗、怪异而深刻的小说，我知道你没法把整本书都塞进一部电影里，那样这部电影就不止2小时而是7小时了。不过我没有选择，一旦这个想法扎根在脑中，我就无法放下它，即使事情变得非常难，我也不能放弃”。

《人山人海》“要火”
本报威尼斯讯 （特派记者孙琳琳）继当地时间9月6日上午9点的媒体场因技术问题临时取消放映之后，晚上的公众放映场如期举行，不料在影片放映近一半时，影厅内的场灯因线路烧焦突然着火，现场可以闻到很浓的焦煳味，放映被迫中断，不少观众因担心引发火灾而惊慌离场。在经历了半小时的检查抢修工作之后，影片才接着进行了放映，不过观众已少了三分之一。在这戏坎坷的放映结束后，全体观众起立鼓掌对电影表达了敬意，威尼斯电影节主席马可·穆勒更是陪同观众看完整个电影并带头鼓掌。面对观众们的掌声，导演蔡尚君当场泪湿眼眶。
一天内遭遇两次放映事故，国内的电影人和影迷纷纷在微博上留言“这片子要火”。由于该片是本届威尼斯电影节第四部华语参赛片，因此国外媒体将指责声音送给了主席马可·穆勒，认为他与中国电影的关系“太过亲密”，且“毫不避讳”。
